When:
iOS devices should always have diagnostics run during the check in process. MRI or SNR must be run for diagnostics to be considered run.

When:
Running short diagnostics are an option during check in. Sometimes customer issues are not so obvious, and running diagnostics can help. Having a general idea of the problem is important for positioning, so if you can not tell what the customer's problem is then run one short diagnostic during check in. Otherwise save diagnostics for post check in.

WindowsOS Devices
When:
There are no short diagnostics that can be run during check in, past a visual inspection. All diagnostics should be saved to post check-in.
