Cleaning your Desk

Cleaning your desk is an important part of maintaining your WorkFlow. Clean desks make sure you have the space to work on continuous projects.

At the end of every day, take 10 minutes or so to clean up your desk. This means putting any extra chargers or cords back to their homes. Any computers that you are not directly working on should be moved off your desk and put away (An example would be that computers on remote are set on the remote bench, waiting for call back is put there, and same for waiting for parts).

If you will not be at work the next day don't leave a computer open sitting on your desk. Try to finish any repairs you're working on for that day, and if you can't then move the computer to someone who will be there the next day.

The only things that should be left on your desk at the end of the day are your personal work computer, the computer you will be starting to work on tomorrow, and the tools needed to complete the job you're working on. Everything else should be put away in its appropriate home.
