Business Customer Onboarding: Billing

Who needs to be onboarded?

Any business customer. Whether they are BizCare, NetCare, or have no service - if a business works with us, they need to fill out this form.

Onboarding a customer

  1. Call the customer. The highlights of your conversation should be:
    • We are updating our billing system
    • We require all business customers to fill out this form so you know how our billing works and we know how we should bill you for either current or future services
    • To whom should we send the form to get started? This should be the primary decision maker or billing contact. Get their name, email, and a phone number to reach them.
    • We are not charging them anything right now, this is strictly informational
  2. Call the person indicated. If this is the same person that you called originally, just continue the call.
    • Direct them to upc.care/auth
    • Have them fill out the form - this form is agreeing that we can send them emails about their services and repairs with us.
    • Inform them that, after they fill out the form, they will receive a "Payment Authorization Form" email. The email and form offer a full explanation, but see the summary section below so you can answer any questions they may have. The email usually takes 5-10 minutes to arrive.
    • Instruct them to call us if they have any additional questions.

Summary of the Payment Authorization Form

  1. We require business customers to have a payment method on file before providing service. This ensures that there are no questions about how and when we should bill.
  2. The customer will always receive either a quote or itemized bill before we use the payment method on file.
  3. All prices and quantities will be agreed upon beforehand, except for emergency and/or urgent repair situations that naturally cannot be priced out beforehand.
