Apple Schedule Manager

The Apple Schedule Manager is where we list our availability for Apple appointments. It is how a customer might book an appointment at our location via Apple’s website, although this happens rarely. The schedule still needs to be filled out, though, to maintain availability.

Procedure

  1. Login to GSX
  2. On the GSX homepage, click on Settings
    1. If you clicked on “More” to read/dismiss a message from GSX, you will need to click “GSX” in the top left corner to get back to the homepage.
  3. Under “UNIVERSITY PC CARE INC” on the left-hand side, click “Schedule Manager”
  4. Click “Manage Capacity” at the top. You will be taken to a calendar view, broken down into days of the week (columns) and hours of the day (rows).
  5. If you are creating an availability calendar based on a previous week’s availability:
    1. Use the “<” and “>” buttons in the top-right of the calendar to navigate to the week for which you will be setting a schedule
    2. For each “Filter by” type on the left-hand side of the calendar, use the “Copy from” dropdown in the bottom-right to copy an availability calendar from a previous week, then click Save.
  6. If you are creating an availability calendar but do not have a previous week’s availability calendar from which to copy:
    1. Use the “<” and “>” buttons in the top-right of the calendar to navigate to the week for which you will be setting a schedule.
    2. For each “Filter by” type on the left-hand side of the calendar, add 1 appointment on each hourly slot available for each day (available slots have a white background, unavailable slots have a gray background), then click Save.

If your job duties include setting the Apple Schedule Manager schedule but you do not have access to do so, email corp@universitypccare.com to request access.
